Welcome to Infotility! We are a group of researchers, clinicians, and community partners, headed by Dr. Phyllis Zelkowitz at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, Quebec.
Our research, which is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, aims to promote reproductive health in people facing fertility concerns, whether they are part of a couple seeking fertility treatment, or young adult male cancer survivors whose diagnosis and treatment may have compromised their fertility. Infertility can have a profound impact on a person’s physical health, mental well-being, and quality of life.
We have a particular interest in men’s health, and aim to provide men with information that they can use to promote their reproductive health.
Few psychoeducational interventions related to infertility have been designed for or tested with men. For these reasons, both women’s and men’s needs for fertility information and support will be addressed through the development of mobile health resources.
Our research interests include: the psychosocial effects of infertility, health communication, social support, and mobile health. If you have any questions or comments about our research, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
